8. Swap & advanced strategies
Swap (quotes only)
Swaps currently show quotes only. PortaWallet won't execute a swap yet. You can compare prices, but nothing is signed or sent. The main button reads Quotes only. If you tap it, you'll see "Quotes only. Swap execution is not enabled." This applies on Telegram, web, Android and iOS.
- Fields: YOU PAY and YOU GET, plus Balance:, Max and Switch direction.
- Quote lifetime: a quote is valid for 30 seconds (Expires in 30s). After that, tap Refresh quote.
- Messages you might see:
- "No route for this pair right now."
- "This pool has no liquidity right now."
- "Quote unavailable for this pair. Try a different amount or token."
- "Couldn't get a quote. Try again."
- "Insufficient balance. Your account does not have enough funds."
Slippage tolerance
Open Max Slippage and pick 0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0% or 2.5%, then tap Save. "A higher slippage tolerance can help transactions succeed, but it might lower the minimum received amount."
Advanced (strategies)
Switch from Simple to Advanced to see order types and Strategies. Each strategy is labelled Live, Paused, Coming soon or Unavailable, and some carry a risk label (Low risk, Medium, High risk).

Platform note: Telegram and web also offer Preview TWAP split, a preview only. Android offers only Preview Grid plan (execute off).
DCA schedule (early access)
DCA lets you collect a fixed amount on a schedule from a mandate that's already signed: "Collect a fixed amount on a schedule against a signed mandate."
- Settings:
- Currency: USDC
- Amount per slice
- Interval: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or custom seconds
- Max slices (default 30)
- Run mode: collection is manual. "Automatic is not live. You collect each slice."
- Buttons: Save schedule, Send slice, Pause, Resume, Cancel.
DCA availability is still being finalized (see Open questions). Don't present it as automatic investing.
