What Agents mean in the wallet

You own the wallet.
An agent is a person or a program you give a temporary key — not your own key.
They can pay only within what you approved: how much, to which addresses, and for how long.
Anything beyond that — the account blocks it. Even if the agent key is stolen, the wallet stays yours.

Why this helps in real life

1. Subscription / API that pays itself

A bot that pays a vendor ($20/week, only that vendor). You do not approve every charge by hand.

2. A helper that trades for you

You wanted software to swap tokens. In the current version this is still closed (exchange swaps). When it opens — a capped limit for 24 hours, not the whole wallet.

3. Someone on the team who needs to pay vendors

You give them a cap and vendor addresses. They cannot send to themselves outside the list.

4. Try without fear

Want to try a new tool? Give it $20/week. Not a fit — tap Revoke or Panic. Your owner key does not change.

How to use it (screen by screen)

    Open Agents (on the web: from Portfolio, or /agents).

  2. 02

    If there is no mandate yet — Create mandate.

  3. 03

    Choose pay_api: 20 USDC, 7 days, ordinary transfers only.
    (swap_24h is greyed — not active yet.)

  4. 04

    Paste the agent’s public key. Their secret key never enters the wallet.

  5. 05

    Read the line: “The agent is not the owner. Limits live in the contract.”

  6. 06

    You sign (owner key).

  7. 07

    You get a settings file with no secrets — give it to the agent’s machine/bot.

  8. 08

    In the list you see how much of the cap remains.

  9. 09

    Revoke = that agent stops on the next block.

  10. 10

    Panic = all agents stop immediately.

What not to do

  • Do not store the agent’s secret key in the wallet backup.
  • Do not approve “everything” / every contract in the world — that option is intentionally absent.
  • Do not confuse: the signature on this screen is yours, not the agent’s.

Who we are

DracoLabs Ltd operates Porta and porta.finance. Contact: hello@porta.finance.

Local keys

Creating or importing a wallet happens on your device. We do not hold your seed phrase, private keys, or assets. We cannot sign, freeze, or reverse a transaction for you.

What we collect

Support — if you email hello@porta.finance, we receive your address and the message so we can reply. Google sign-in — if you authenticate with Google, we receive the email and basic profile Google shares for that OAuth consent, and we use it to sign you in. We do not get your Google password. Telegram Mini App — if you open Porta in Telegram, Telegram hosts that surface; we do not receive your Telegram password. Hosting and mail — GitHub Pages and our email provider process the technical data they need to serve the site and deliver mail.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. This site does not run an ad or analytics pixel. We will never ask for your seed phrase.

On-chain data

Transfers you make on public networks are public. That is how the chains work, not a Porta database of your holdings.

The software

Porta is provided as-is, without a warranty that it will be available, bug-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Chains, RPCs, and Telegram can be down. You use the software at your own risk.

No custody

We do not take custody of your assets. You control the keys. If you lose them, we cannot restore the wallet. We are not a bank, custodian, or broker.

Network risk

You pay gas. Transactions you confirm are typically irreversible. Smart contracts and networks can fail or be congested. Review every send and swap before you confirm. Review is not a guarantee against loss.
